I focus my practice in the area of family law, which involves divorce, child support, paternity, custody, adoption, guardianship, and other family-related matters. It also includes juvenile law, where the issues may involve child abuse, child neglect, or child delinquency.
I was born in Hartsburg, Missouri. I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Before going to law school I worked in the Trust Department at First National Bank and Trust Company in Columbia, Missouri. In 2007, I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. I am licensed to practice in the state of Missouri.

During law school, I clerked for the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Jackson County and I served as a Rule 13 Court Appointed Guardian Ad Litem in Jackson County. I was also an editorial assistant for the Journal of the Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a member of the 2007 UMKC National Client Counseling Competition team and received the 2007 Outstanding Child and Family Services Clinic award. |
I am a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the St. Louis County Bar Association, the American Bar Association (Family Law Section), the Missouri Bar (Family Law Section), the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the Women Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis.
